- Bitcoin Halving is expected to happen today on 19 April 2024. Last Halving happened on 11 May 2020 when 630000 Bitcoins were minted. This halving will be done on mining of 840000 Bitcoins. The overall Bitcoins supply will reach at 210,000,000 which is expected to happen on in 2140 or may be earlier. Initially Bitcoin minted per block was 50 after 3 halvings in 2012, 2016 and 2020 it reached to 6.25 BTC per block. Now after today’s halving it will reduce to 3.125 BTC per block.
